The Pommier Ranch is a picturesque 84 acres of property located where the Diorite Creek meets the Lussier River in the East Kootenay Columbia region of BC. It has been in the Pommier family since it was first homesteaded by Emile and Marie Pommier in 1927.
On the property there is the old homestead log house built in 1927 that has an old abandoned look. The bunkhouse was built in the 1940's. It has since been upgraded and has running water and electricity. There are 3 single beds, one bathroom, a kitchen and an old wood burning stove. It is decorated western and rustic.
The new farmhouse is a rustic two bedroom, two bathroom home. There is wood flooring throughout and cement in the basement. The house have a wood burning stove in the basement and a wrap around deck. There is a Meadery that was built in 2016 that includes a store and 4 rooms for mead making, bottling and storage. The property includes an old wooden shop, shed, 5 outhouses, 7 fire pits, and 3 plug in campsites with room for 20 trailers with generators.
We are located 45 minutes from Cranbrook, 30 minutes from Fairmont Hot Springs, 10 minutes from Skookumchuck, and 15 minutes from Premier Lake National Park. All of these locations have lodging from hotels to motels to camping.
